Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a powerful and unique Mexican cultural tradition when the dead return to visit their living friends and family. Tequila is a central part of the festival, being offered to the returning spirits to welcome them home. To emphasize the authenticity of Jose Cuervo Tradicional as a much-loved Mexican tequila, we commissioned emerging Mexican film directors to make documentary films exploring the varied Dia de Muertos traditions found across Mexico.
